Reviews: Tacama Terroix
Terroix
Varieties of the Malbec and Tannat grapes grow in the oldest plots of land of
Tacama. Together they express an exceptional personality.
Terroix has a beautiful cherry red color with blue streaks. It has a fruity
aroma similar to marmalade and prunes, mixed with hints of nutmeg and cinnamon
and ending with a roasted coffee bouquet. In the mouth it reveals a wide range
of soft and velvety flavors and a final body that expresses the characteristics
of the land.
The fruity aromas and flavors are obtained from the Malbec variety that
underwent a short maceration process. The Tannat variety with an extended
maceration gives it its body and its maturing in French oak barrels contributes
to the complexity of the Terroix wine.
Percentage of vine stocks that compose it: 39% malbec, 61%tannat.

Terroix 2007
Malbec and Tannat combination. Ruby colour, spice on the nose with some red
fruit. Juicy, dry yet a soft drive on the palate. Good weight, medium finish.
