Location
Tittarelli`s vineyards, olive tree fields, wineries and the olive oil factory are located about 70 km east of Mendoza City, in Rivadavia, at 33° south latitude, an area regarded as one of the best locations to grow high quality grapes.

The Winery
Tittarelli is one of the most antique and prestigious wineries in Argentina. It was established in 1915 by Enrique Tittarelli, who engaged in the business right after emigrating from Italy. Tittarelli covers 1,800 hectares at the foothills of the Andes mountains, a region with an exceptional microclimate, enjoying more than 300 days of sunshine and less than 200 mm of rainfall per year.
The company is divided into two wineries, Finca El Retiro and Finca La Libertad, home of the Tittarelli winery, which combine tradition and technology to create unbeatable wines. A highly qualified staff of professionals, technicians, and workers have been handed down the legacy of the three generations who made and currently make Tittarelli a great brand.

The awards and international recognition
Year after year, the Tittarelli and Finca El Retiro wines are awarded with high score medals and editorial mentions by the different international wine challenges and the wine press.

The first Argentine Wine Awards, held in Mendoza during February 2007, has honored Finca El Retiro Reserva Especial Tempranillo 2004 with a Gold Trophy as the Best Tempranillo of Argentina, placing it among the top 9 wines of the country. The event had the presence of renowned wine journalists, wine critics and sommeliers from the United Kingdom with top winemakers from Argentina.
