The Winery
Chakana is a modern enterprise that takes up an old family legacy. Chakana Estate is situated on a 150 ha estate 34 km south of the city of Mendoza, in Agrelo, Lujan de Cuyo 960 masl.

In the Andes foothills, Chakana develops the concept of estate wines, making them in the same place where grapes are grown. This complete integration between agricultural and enologic practices, result in wines of superior expression. Chakana offers the best expression of its unique terroir: Agrelo, at Lujan de Cuyo County, Mendoza. The Company is mainly oriented to export (95%).

Vineyard management is under the directions of Santiago Mayorga, one of the most experienced and prestigiuos Argentinean viticulturists. Wine design is under the responsibility of the reknown international wine consultant Alberto Antonini.
