intimate, yet adventurous experience. Xplorador is a new wine with a new taste
from the New World of winemaking. This means that Xplorador wines are full of
flavor and fruit, yet elegant and approachable.
CABERNET SAUVIGNON
Region: Central Valley, Chile
Grape Variety: 90% Cabernet Sauvignon, 10% Carménère
Production Technique: Hand and mechanically harvested in April. 30% of the wine
is aged in small American oak barriques for 3 months, and 70% is aged in
stainless steel for 3 months.
Description: Color: Brilliant red with violaceous hues.
Bouquet: Berries, cassis and red plums. Soft vanilla.
Taste: Good body, harmonic, balanced and persistent finish.
Alcohol Content: 13.7%
Total Acidity: 4.91g/l
Dark red and violet in color. Plum and cherry notes with a touch of vanilla. On
the palate, the wine is concentrated and soft, with rich flavors of berries and
toasty oak.This wine is an excellent accompaniment to hearty stews and roasts,
grilled and barbecued red meats, pasta and cheese.

CHARDONNAY
Region: Central Valley, Chile
Grape Variety: 100% Chardonnay
Production Technique: Hand and mechanically harvested at the end of March and
early April. The wine is fermented and aged for 2 months in stainless steel.
Description: Color: Brilliant yellow.
Bouquet: Intense aroma of green apples and tropical fruits such as papaya and
pineapple with a backdrop of vanilla.
Taste: Fresh with a medium and balanced body.
Alcohol Content: 13.2%
Total Acidity: 5.9g/l
Yellow, with tinges of straw. Pineapple and tropical fruit. On the palate, the
wine is crisp, elegant, round and mouthfilling.Enjoy the rich, long finish of
this wine with fresh shellfish, and fish with mild sauces, and Asian dishes.

MERLOT
Region: Central Valley, Chile
Grape Variety: 90% Merlot, 10% Carménère
Production Technique: Hand and mechanically harvested at the end of March and
early April. 10% of the wine is aged in small American oak for 4 months, and 90%
is aged in stainless steel for 4 months.
Description: Color: Ruby red with violaceous hues.
Bouquet: Cherry, cassis and red plums. Soft vanilla and cacao.
Taste: Elegant, round palate with good body and persistence.
Alcohol Content: 13.7%
Total Acidity: 5.06g/l
The color is dark and deep red with violet. It has mature red fruit character
married with cacao and vanilla. Hints of plum and spice on the palate,
generously framed by toasty American oak.It is a round and well balanced wine. A
perfect complement to cheese, pasta and turkey.

MALBEC
Region: Mendoza, Argentina
Grape Variety: 100% Malbec
Production Technique: The grapes are manually harvested in late March and early
April. The wine is aged 6-8 months in French oak and a further 3 months in
stainless steel.
Description: Color: Deep red with violet hues.
Bouquet: Powerful, a mix of typical red fruits like plum and cherry with vanilla
hints from the oak.
Taste: Good body with sweet tannins.
Alcohol Content: 13.2%
Total Acidity: 5.47g/l
Intense red color. Complex blend of aromas reminiscent of ripe plums and a hint
of vanilla. Xplorador Malbec is an excellent accompaniment to full flavored
foods including duck, lamb, beef and dishes with spicy sauces.
